This page summarizes my usage of LLMs (“AI”) on this website.
If you’d like to learn why I made this page, check out the AI Manifesto.
Summary
I hand-write every post about things I find interesting, and I get a lot out of it. I’m not interested in delegating that process to AI. I use AI to improve what I already do.
How I Use AI Tools
I use Grammarly to check for grammatical mistakes and typos.
I use ChatGPT to help me iterate on my posts’ title and description, because it is sometimes better at describing what I’ve written than I am.
I use ChatGPT to identify weak arguments and exclusionary language. It doesn’t edit my writing. I have blind spots, and AI has different blind spots. I’d prefer to work with people to do this, but I write too frequently for this to be viable.
